Best-Fit Profile

This recruitment is ideal for ex-servicemen with relevant medical, paramedical, or driving qualifications and substantial work experience. Individuals seeking contractual employment within the Ministry of Defence framework in a specific location like Sri Vijaya Puram (Andaman and Nicobar Islands) will find these roles suitable. These positions offer an opportunity to continue serving in a healthcare capacity post-service.

Important Considerations

Candidates looking for permanent government employment should not apply, as these are fixed-term contractual positions. Those without the specified minimum work experience, or individuals unwilling to relocate to Sri Vijaya Puram, will find these roles unsuitable. Non-ex-servicemen may face a disadvantage due to the explicit preference for ex-servicemen.

Career Impact

Working under the Ministry of Defence for the ECHS scheme carries inherent prestige and contributes to a vital national healthcare initiative. While the roles are contractual and offer limited long-term career progression within this specific contract, they provide valuable experience in a central government setup and can serve as a stepping stone for future opportunities within public service or the healthcare sector.
