NCSM Security & Maintenance Officer Recruitment 2026: 02 Vacancies for Retired Defence Personnel

Selected candidates will receive emoluments at Pay Matrix Level 7 of the 7th CPC, ranging from Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,42,400. Total emoluments at the start of service will be approximately Rs. 95,788.00 in A-1 cities, subject to change based on the place of posting. Other allowances will be admissible as per NCSM rules.

Interested and eligible candidates must follow these steps to apply:

• Download Application Form: Obtain the prescribed application form from the NCSM official website: https://ncsm.gov.in/notice/career#.
• Complete Application: Fill out the application form thoroughly, ensuring all details of present and previous employments in the relevant field are disclosed.
• Attach Documents: Submit the completed application along with all relevant certificates and testimonials. Applications without these will be summarily rejected.
• Demand Draft: Enclose a non-refundable demand draft for Rs. 1180/- (if applicable) in favour of "National Council of Science Museums" payable at Kolkata.
• Submission Address: Send the completed application and enclosures to the following address: The Secretary, National Council of Science Museums, 33, Block-GN, Sector-V, Bidhan Nagar, Kolkata-700 091.
• Deadline: The application must be submitted latest by March 31, 2026.
• Government Employees: Candidates currently working in Government, Semi-Government, Public Sector Undertaking, or Autonomous Organizations must apply through the proper channel or submit a 'No Objection Certificate' (NOC) from their current employer.

• A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1180/- (Rs. 1000/- + GST@18% i.e. Rs. 180/-) is required.
• The fee must be paid in the form of a demand draft drawn in favour of "National Council of Science Museums" payable at Kolkata.
• Exemption: Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disability (PwD), and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) are exempted from payment of the application fee.
• Paid fees will not be refunded or adjusted under any circumstances.
