Chief General Manager Finance & Accounts

The post of Chief General Manager (Finance & Accounts) falls under Group-'A' and is compensated at Level-14 of the Pay Matrix, with a salary range of Rs.144200-218200. For deputation, candidates must either hold an analogous post on a regular basis in Level-14 or have three years of regular service in a grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Level-13 of the Pay Matrix (Rs.123100-215900) or equivalent.

• Online Application Procedure:

  • Navigate to the 'About Us' section, then 'Vacancies', and finally 'Current'.
  • Find the relevant recruitment advertisement and click on the 'Online application' link.
  • Upon clicking 'APPLY', you will be redirected to the NHAI application portal.
  • Register by creating a User ID and password, providing your name, phone number, email ID, and optionally, your Aadhar card number.
  • Log in to the system using the credentials received via email.
  • Select the specific post you wish to apply for and diligently fill out the application form.
  • All fields in the form are mandatory. Ensure accuracy, especially when entering your date of birth and retirement age, as the system will auto-calculate related information.
  • Upload scanned copies of a color passport-size photograph, digital signature, essential educational/professional qualification documents, and promotion/appointment orders. Ensure files are in jpg, jpeg, png, gif, or pdf format and do not exceed 1 MB.
  • Add detailed educational and experience information as prompted.
  • Use the 'preview' button to thoroughly review all entered information for correctness before final submission.
  • After verifying all details, click 'Final Submit' to save your application.
  • Upon successful online submission, a PDF format printout of your application will be generated. Download and print this form.
• Physical Submission for Deputation Candidates:
  • The printout of the online application form, along with requisite documents, must be forwarded by your parent department.
  • Your parent department must provide a prescribed 'Verification Certificate' and certified copies of your Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APARs)/Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs) for the last five (05) years.
  • The forwarding department should also enclose a vigilance clearance certificate (confirming no penalty against the officer for the last ten years), an integrity certificate, and a no penalty certificate.
  • They must certify that all particulars provided in your online application regarding educational qualifications, relevant experience, and pay details are true, correct, and verified from your service records.
  • The duly filled-in print-out of the ONLINE application, forwarded by your parent department along with the prescribed 'Verification Certificate' and photocopies of APARs/ACRs, must reach NHAI at the following address on or before 2026-06-07:
