• Assistant Secretary (Forum of Regulators) [Level-11 | 1 Post]: Diploma in Financial Management with experience in regulatory commission affairs; holding analogous post OR 4 years in Level-10 OR 6 years in Level-07.
• Assistant Chief (Economics) [Level-11 | 1 Post]: Post Graduate in Economics / Econometrics / Maths with Operational Research / Statistics; holding analogous post OR 4 years in Level-10.

1. Application: Duly completed applications in prescribed proforma with 5-year APARs, vigilance clearance, and integrity certificate must reach CERC by 18.10.2026. Online registration on cercind.gov.in is also required.
2. Screening: Applications are screened against eligibility criteria and substantive service length. Only shortlisted candidates are invited for personal interaction.
3. Interaction: Candidate's domain expertise in power regulation, finance, law, or engineering is evaluated by the Selection Board.

Central 7th CPC Pay Matrix. In case of deputation on foreign service terms, CERC remits Leave Salary Contribution, Pension/NPS contribution, and Deputation (Duty) Allowance. For short-term contracts from PSUs, Leave Salary, Gratuity, and CPF/EPF/NPS contributions are remitted.
