Junior Scientific Officer: First Class M.Sc./M.S. in any branch of Chemistry, Soil Science, Environmental Science, or Microbiology, acquired after a B.Sc./B.S. in any discipline of Science from a recognized University.
Junior Environmental Engineer: A M.Tech./M.E. degree in Environmental Engineering after a B.Tech./B.E. degree in Biotechnology, Chemical, Civil, Mining, Environmental, or Textile Engineering from a recognized University, OR a First Class B.Tech./B.E. Degree in any of the above specified Engineering branches from a recognized University.
Note: If a class/division is not awarded, a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate shall be considered equivalent to first class/division.

Age Limit Details

The age limit for candidates is 18 to 40 years as on 01.01.2026. An additional relaxation of 1 year in the maximum age limit will be provided for candidates who were over-age as on 01.01.2026 based on previous recruitment year (2023). Age relaxations apply as follows:

SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS Male candidates of Rajasthan: 5 years
General Category Female candidates of Rajasthan: 5 years
SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS Female candidates of Rajasthan: 10 years
Widow and divorcee women: No upper age limit
Ex-servicemen: 10 years (upper limit 50 years after relaxation)
Persons with benchmark disabilities: 5 years

Salary & Pay Scale

As per the 7th Pay Commission, Junior Scientific Officer will be on Pay Matrix Level-12 and Junior Environmental Engineer on Pay Matrix Level-10. During the 2-year probation period, fixed remuneration will be paid.

Uploading Documents: Scan and upload a recent passport-style colour photograph (4.5cm x 3.5cm, 20kb-50kb), signature (black ink, 10kb-20kb), left thumb impression (black or blue ink, 20kb-50kb), and a hand-written declaration in English (black ink, 50kb-100kb).
Payment of Fees: Pay the application fee online using Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, or Mobile Wallets.
Final Submission: Preview the entire application form and click 'COMPLETE REGISTRATION'. Print out the system-generated online application form and e-Receipt for future reference.

Rajasthan Non-Creamy Layer OBC/MBC and EWS candidates: Rs. 1200/-
