Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess the following qualifications from a recognized institution. Higher qualifications (Degree/PG Degree) in the same discipline are also acceptable.

General/EWS Category: Minimum 50% marks required.
SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD Category: Minimum 45% marks required.

Civil: Full-time Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Electrical: Full-time Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
S&T: Full-time Diploma in Instrumentation/Instrumentation & Control/Electronics & Instrumentation/Electrical & Instrumentation/Electronics/Electrical & Electronics.
Mechanical: Full-time Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Industrial/Manufacturing/Automobile Engineering.
Metallurgy: Full-time Diploma in Metallurgy Engineering.
Chemical: Full-time Diploma in Chemical/Petrochemical/Plastic/Food/Textile/Leather Technology.
Chemistry: Full-time B.Sc. in Chemistry.

Age Limit Details

The maximum age limit for the post of Senior Technical Assistant is 40 years as of the last date of application submission. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government norms. PWD candidates are eligible for a relaxation of 10 years in the upper age limit.
