- Bachelor's Degree: Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University or institution, or its equivalent.
- Computer Proficiency: Applicants are required to possess a certificate for a minimum 120-hour course covering practical experience in Personal Computers, Information Technology (Office Productivity, Desktop Publishing) from a government-recognized or ISO 9001 certified institution. Alternatively, an 'O' level certificate in Computer Information Technology from DOEACC (Government of India) is acceptable.
- Punjabi Language Competency: It is mandatory to have passed Matriculation (10th standard) with Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject, or an equivalent examination in Punjabi language. Additionally, candidates must pass a qualifying Punjabi Language test at Matriculation standard with at least 50% marks, which will be conducted by the recruitment agency.
