SSSB Punjab Excise and Taxation Inspector Recruitment 2026: 197 Vacancies

The pay scale for the Excise and Taxation Inspector post is Rs. 35400/- (as per 7th CPC). Further details regarding basic pay and other allowances will be governed by the instructions issued by the Finance Department (Finance Personnel-1 Branch), Punjab Government, vide letter no. 7/204/2012-4FP.1/66 dated 15.01.2015, and any subsequent directives issued from time to time.

1. Access Application Portal: Visit the official website https://sssb.punjab.gov.in and click on the “Apply Online” link.
2. Registration: New users without a Login/User ID must click on “Registration” and fill in their details to generate a unique User ID and Password. Keep these credentials safe for future use.
3. Application Form Filling: Log in using your User ID and Password. Fill in all personal, educational, and other required information accurately.
4. Document Upload: Upload scanned copies of your passport-sized photograph and signature. Incomplete applications without these will be rejected. Additionally, upload scanned copies of your 10th class certificate, educational qualification certificates, and other necessary documents.
5. Save and Review: After uploading documents, click “Save Documents”. You can save the form as a draft or proceed by clicking “Next”.
6. Fee Payment: Proceed to “Make payment” and pay the application fee online.
7. Final Submission: After successful fee payment, click “Submit” to complete the application process. Your complete Application Form will be displayed on the screen.
8. Print Application Form: Take a printout of the submitted Application Form for your records. The application will only be considered valid upon successful fee payment.

• No modifications can be made to the Application Form once it is submitted.
• Fee waivers/exemptions will not be granted, except for those who applied for Advertisement No. 14/2024. Applications without successful fee payment will be deemed incomplete and rejected.
• Only online applications and fees will be accepted. Applications submitted through any other mode will be rejected.
• Applicants from Advertisement No. 14/2024 must re-apply using their previous Application No. and Date of Birth for verification and fee exemption.

Please note that once the application fee is paid, it will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates who applied for Advertisement No. 14/2024 are exempted from paying the fee for this recruitment.
