• Doctorate Option: Ph.D. degree in Design, Interaction Design, Product Design, or Visual Communication Design; OR
• Master's & Bachelor's Option: Bachelor’s Degree or minimum 4-year Diploma in Design, Fine Arts, Applied Arts, Architecture, or Engineering with First Class (or equivalent), AND Master’s degree or equivalent Post Graduate Diploma with First Class in Industrial Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Applied Arts, Architecture, Interaction Design, New Media Studies, Design Management, Ergonomics, Human Factors Engineering, or allied fields.
• Desirable: Minimum 2 years of professional industry/R&D design practice or teaching/research experience in a University or Institute of National Importance (INI).

Physical Personal Interview before Selection Committee at Tezpur University

• Guest Faculty: ₹1,500/- per lecture, subject to a maximum ceiling of ₹50,000/- per month.
Fixed monthly consolidated remuneration: ₹80,000/- per month for Assistant Professor (contractual); ₹1,500/- per lecture up to a maximum of ₹50,000/- per month for Guest Faculty. No other allowances admissible. Tenure: 11 months for Assistant Professor, Autumn Semester 2026 for Guest Faculty (extendable based on performance).
