Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Essential Qualification: Candidates must possess a Diploma in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering from an institute approved by AICTE.
Important Note: Candidates holding a Degree (e.g., B.E./B.Tech) without a Diploma in the relevant engineering branch are not eligible to apply.
Domicile: Candidates must be a domicile of Tripura and provide a Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura (PRCT).
Language: Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok is required.

Age Limit Details

The candidate must be between 18 and 40 years of age. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for ST/SC/PwDs candidates as per the reservation rules of the State Government of Tripura.

Salary & Pay Scale

The posts are in Level 10 of the Tripura State Pay Matrix 2018, with a pay scale of Rs. 5,700-24,000 and a Grade Pay of Rs. 4,200 (pre-revised), plus other allowances. Initially, selected candidates will be appointed as 'Management Trainees' for one year and will receive a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 23,600 per month during this period.

Eligible candidates must apply offline by following these steps:

Download and fill out the prescribed application format (Annexure-A) from the notification.
Attach the original Demand Draft (DD) for the application fee.
Include two recent passport-size coloured photographs.
Enclose self-attested photocopies of all required documents, including mark sheets, caste certificate, PRCT, and proof of age and education.
Place all documents in a sealed envelope and superscribe it with "Application for the post of 'Name of the post applied for' under TSECL".
Send the completed application to the following address: The Managing Director, Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited (TSECL), Bidyut Bhavan, North Banamalipur, Agartala, Tripura (West), Pin-799001.
The application must reach the office between 10th November 2025 and 4th December 2025 (up to 05:00 PM).
