Appointees will work in the Department of Microbiology's Viral Research & Diagnostic Laboratory (VRDL) at AIIMS Kalyani, an apex tertiary hospital and central statutory institute under MoHFW. Duties involve handling infectious clinical diagnostic samples, operating biosafety level laboratory suites, executing diagnostic RT-PCR assays, serology (ELISA), viral load testing, outbreak surveillance, and maintaining NABL accreditation documentation. Strict adherence to institutional bio-risk safety guidelines and mandatory personal vaccination protocols applies.

Stationed on-campus at NH-34 Connector, Basantapur, Saguna, Kalyani, Nadia, West Bengal - 741245. Contract is initially for 6 months, extendable based on annual performance review and VRDL project sanction from DHR/ICMR until project completion. No residential hostel/accommodation is provided on campus.
