Educational Qualification

Educational & Eligibility Qualifications:
• Medical Candidates: MBBS Degree from an NMC/MCI recognized University or Medical College, completion of compulsory rotatory internship, and valid Medical Council registration.
• Non-Medical Candidates (Physiology only): Master's Degree in concerned discipline, i.e., M.Sc. in Medical Physiology from a recognized University / Institute.
• Tenure: Contractual engagement for a maximum period of 1 year governed by CCS (Temporary Service) Rules.
• Prohibition: Private practice of any kind is strictly prohibited during the tenure.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Maximum age limit is 30 years as of the date of notification publication (25.08.2026).
• Note: Since all vacancies are Unreserved (UR), no age relaxation is available for SC/ST/OBC candidates applying for unreserved vacancies.
• Age relaxation of 10 years is permissible for PwD (OPH) candidates as per Government of India rules.

1. Tutors in the Department of Physiology conduct hematology practicals, nerve-muscle physiology experiments, human physiology recordings (ECG, spirometry, EEG, EMG), and small-group tutorials for MBBS students. Tutors in Community Medicine and Family Medicine (CMFM) supervise community health postings, family health surveys, rural/urban health training centers (RHTC/UHTC), epidemiological surveillance, and public health immunization programs. Routine academic hours (8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Saturday with alternate Saturdays off). Private practice is strictly prohibited.
