Essential Qualifications & Military Service:
• Education: SSLC / 10th Standard (Pass) from a recognized Board.
• Armed Forces Experience: Minimum 15 years of active service experience in the Indian Armed Forces (Army / Navy / Air Force).
• Discharge Standards: Must possess an 'Exemplary' or 'Very Good' conduct character record and medical discharge category 'AYE' or 'SHAPE-I'.
• Registration: Mandatory active registration with the District Sainik Welfare Board (Zila Sainik Kalyan Board).
• Languages: Ability to speak, read, and write Hindi and English is essential.
• Desirable: Fire fighting certification/training and possession of a valid driving license.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Upper age limit as on 01.08.2026:
• Unreserved / General / EWS: 43 years.
• Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL): 46 years (3 years relaxation).
• Scheduled Caste (SC): 48 years (5 years relaxation).
