College of Agriculture, Iroisemba is the premier constituent college of Central Agricultural University (CAU), Imphal. The All India Coordinated Research Project (AICRP) on Fruit Crops focuses on varietal evaluation, crop improvement, agro-techniques, and plant protection of regional fruit crops (mango, citrus, papaya, banana, and indigenous fruits of Northeast India). Project Assistants participate actively in experimental fruit orchards, field layout, recording phenological and biometric data, nursery operations, and coordinating research trials with the Principal Investigator.
