AIIMS Bhopal is a premier Institute of National Importance under MoHFW, Government of India, located at Saket Nagar, Bhopal. This Junior Research Fellow position operates within the Department of Translational Medicine under Principal Investigator Dr. Neha Arya on an extramural BIRAC-funded translational oncology project titled 'Development of a bioprinted patient-derived breast tumor organoid platform for drug screening and personalized medicine'. The Fellow is responsible for executing primary and cancer cell culture, formulating novel bioinks, synthesizing scaffolds, performing 3D bioprinting of tumor organoid platforms, evaluating drug responses, and carrying out molecular assays (immunofluorescence, RT-qPCR, confocal imaging). The research environment is rigorous, highly collaborative, and bench-to-bedside oriented.
Posting & Transfer Policy

Purely temporary contractual appointment. The initial engagement is sanctioned for 10 months, extendable up to a total duration of 2 years contingent upon satisfactory performance review by the Principal Investigator and availability of BIRAC project funds. The contractual tenure confers no right, title, or claim for regular or permanent absorption in AIIMS Bhopal or BIRAC. The contract may be terminated by either party with 30 days' advance notice or salary in lieu thereof.
