IIPS Mumbai Recruitment 2026 – Apply for Chief Administrative Officer Post on Deputation

Essential Qualifications:
• Educational: Master's degree with at least 55% marks from a recognized University.
• Experience: Minimum 15 years of administrative experience in a university, academic institution, Government / Semi-Government department, PSU, or relevant institution.
• Deputation Cadre Criteria: At least 10 years of total experience including minimum 3 years of regular service in a post in Pay Level-12 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.
• Desirable: Proficiency in computer applications, functioning of e-Office in Government of India, and hands-on knowledge of public procurement, asset purchase, and inventory management as per General Financial Rules (GFR) and GeM.
• Service Tenure Condition: The applicant must have at least 4 years of service remaining before superannuation as on the closing date of application (05/10/2026).

The maximum age limit for appointment on deputation shall not exceed 55 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications (05.10.2026). Age limit is relaxable in deserving cases as per Government of India rules.

1. Visit the official IIPS Mumbai portal at www.iipsindia.ac.in and download the official application form (Notification No. Administration-01/2026).
2. Fill out the prescribed application format completely (handwritten applications will not be accepted). Candidates must submit two copies of the application form.
3. Forward the application through Proper Channel from the present employer/cadre controlling authority along with:
   • No Objection Certificate (NOC) and relieving undertaking.
   • Authenticated copies of Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APAR/ACR) for the last 5 years.
   • Vigilance Clearance Certificate in the prescribed format.
   • Integrity Certificate.
   • Certificate stating that no major/minor penalty has been imposed on the officer during the last 10 years.
   • Self-attested copies of educational qualifications, mark sheets, and experience certificates.
4. Candidates may optionally submit an Advance Copy directly to avoid postal delay. In such case, the envelope and application must be clearly marked as "ADVANCE COPY".
5. Superscribe the envelope containing the application with "Application for the post of Chief Administrative Officer on Deputation basis".
6. Dispatch the application packet by speed post / registered post to: The Director & Senior Professor, International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Govandi Station Road, Deonar, Mumbai – 400 088. The application must reach on or before 05 October 2026.
