The Centre of Materials Sciences at the University of Allahabad is an advanced interdisciplinary research facility equipped with synthesis labs and characterization infrastructure. The project is funded under the Collaborative Research Scheme (CRS) of UGC-DAE Consortium for Scientific Research (CSR), Indore Centre. The research fellow will work on cutting-edge 2D nanomaterials (MXenes, reduced graphene oxide, and 2D-spinel nanocomposites) for high-performance hybrid supercapacitors. The role involves routine synthesis, structural characterization (XRD, SEM, TEM), electrochemical testing, and mandatory collaborative research visits to UGC-DAE CSR beamlines/facilities in Indore.

The appointment is purely temporary and contractual, initially for 1 year and extendable annually based on performance reviews every 6 months and funding availability, up to a maximum duration of 3 years.
