Educational Qualification

Undergraduate Degree: B.Sc. Agriculture degree from a recognized Institute / University with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the point scale.
Postgraduate Degree: Master’s degree in any discipline of Agriculture with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade from a recognized Indian or foreign university.
National Eligibility: Must have qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by CSIR, ICAR, or UGC (or SLET/SET), OR possess a Ph.D. Degree in Agriculture awarded in accordance with UGC Regulations (2009/2016/2022) with NET exemption conditions fulfilled.

Age Limit & Relaxations

The Central University of Odisha (CUO) is a premier central institution situated in Sunabeda, Koraput district, established under the Central Universities Act, 2009. The Department of Agriculture conducts academic and field-oriented instruction for B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture students, emphasizing Eastern Ghats highland agro-ecology, crop production, sustainable farming, and soil health. Guest faculty members conduct theoretical lectures, practical farm demonstrations, and internal continuous assessments for 12–16 lecture hours weekly.
