CSIR-CFTRI Mysuru Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for Project Associate-II & Project Assistant-II Posts (CSIR-Jigyasa Project)

Cadre-wise qualifications, experience, and project duties under CSIR-Jigyasa Project (HCP-002601):
• Project Associate-II (Post Code HCP002601-01 - 01 Post): M.Sc. in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Food Science and Nutrition, Microbiology, or equivalent from a recognized University, AND at least two (2) years of experience in research & development or Science communication in an Industrial, Academic, or S&T organization. Role requires interacting with high school students to communicate scientific concepts and coordinating outreach workshops.
• Project Assistant-II (Post Code HCP002601-02 - 01 Post): B.Sc. in Food Science & Nutrition or equivalent from a recognized University OR 3 years Diploma in Chemical Engineering / Biotechnology. Desirable: Experience in conducting scientific events for high school students and fluency in Kannada.
• Tenure & 6-Year Cap: Purely temporary contract initially up to March 2027 (extendable till project completion). Total cumulative engagement across CSIR laboratories cannot exceed 6 years per CSIR OM No. 5-1(342)/2017-PD.

Upper age limit is 35 years as on the closing date (14 September 2026) for both positions. Relaxable by 5 years for SC, ST, PwBD, and Women candidates (up to 40 years), and 3 years for OBC candidates (up to 38 years) as per CSIR norms.
