Project Associate-II at CSIR-CFTRI Mysuru will work on the multicentric randomized-control trial project entitled 'Impact of a cost-effective, nutritionally optimized supplement on body composition and functional measures: A multicentric randomized-control trial among older adults at risk of malnutrition/or malnourished (I-CARE Study)' (Project No. GAP000657). Responsibilities involve food formulation and product development, batch preparation, nutrient profiling, laboratory sensory and quality analysis, stability testing, subject intervention tracking, and documentation in compliance with CSIR and clinical trial research standards.

The position is purely on a temporary contractual basis, initially for a period till February 2027, extendable up to February 2028 or until project completion, whichever is earlier. As per CSIR OM No. 5-1(342)/2017-PD dated 02.09.2024, the total tenure of project staff across all CSIR laboratories taken together cannot exceed 6 years under any circumstances. Engagement does not confer any entitlement for absorption or permanent employment in CSIR-CFTRI.
