Microwave Tube Research & Development Centre (MTRDC), Bengaluru, is a premier laboratory of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) engaged in design, prototyping, and development of Microwave Tubes, Microwave Power Modules (MPM), and High-Power Microwave (HPM) systems for Radar, Electronic Warfare (EW), and defence communications. JRFs work directly on cutting-edge vacuum electronics, material science, ultra-high vacuum systems, electromagnetic field simulations (CST Microwave Studio/HFSS), and particle-in-cell CAD design under senior scientists.
