Educational Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech: Completed or Pursuing B.E./B.Tech in CSE, IT, Software Engineering, AI, Data Science, ECE, Mathematics & Computing, Biomedical Engineering, or closely related discipline with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
• M.E./M.Tech: Completed or Pursuing M.E./M.Tech in the above disciplines with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
• MCA: Completed MCA with at least 70% marks or equivalent CGPA.
• Preferred Skills: Python, AI/ML, Deep Learning, Generative AI, web/app development, databases, and interest in healthcare informatics/applied AI research.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Research interns in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at DTU work directly under Dr. Rohit Beniwal on the Koshika Foundation/CCDR sponsored healthcare AI project. Duties involve collecting and preprocessing multimodal Indian population ocular/glaucoma datasets, designing and training deep neural network architectures (CNNs, Vision Transformers, Multimodal fusion models), building interactive diagnostic web dashboards, and authoring research papers for peer-reviewed journals. Standard lab working hours are 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with access to high-performance computing GPU infrastructure.

Posting & Transfer Policy

The engagement is purely contractual and project-based for 12 months or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier. Extension is contingent upon candidate performance, fund availability, and PI/DTU approval. The engagement confers no entitlement to regular appointment at DTU.
