Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in the relevant subject (Arts stream subjects like Odia, English, History, Political Science, Economics, Odia Optional) with a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent grade. Additionally, a B.Ed. or equivalent degree recognized by NCTE, New Delhi, is generally required. However, in cases of non-availability of B.Ed. candidates in a particular subject, candidature of non-B.Ed. candidates may be considered.

Retired Government College/HSS teachers must be below 65 years of age to be considered for engagement. No specific age limit is mentioned for fresh candidates.

• Applications must be submitted in the prescribed format (enclosed with the notification).
• The filled application form along with self-attested copies of required documents must reach the office of the Principal, B.K.M. Govt. Higher Secondary School, Kulana, Bhadrak.
• Applications must be submitted physically by hand between 7:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, except Sundays.
• The deadline for application submission is June 10, 2026, at 12:00 Noon.
• Applications sent through email will not be entertained or rejected.
