Educational Qualification

1. Research Associate (a) (1 Post - ₹45,000/- p.m.): M.A. in Linguistics with formal translation training/coursework and experience in AI/language research, multilingual dataset evaluation, and linguistic QA. Skilled in Gujarati, Hindi, and English with expertise in translation, linguistic annotation, lexicon correction, dataset curation, and acoustic model validation. Experience with IIT language/AI research, language technologies, and multilingual quality assessment preferred.
2. Research Associate (b) (1 Post - ₹45,000/- p.m.): Native Marathi competency, M.A. in Translation Studies, advanced expertise in translation and applied linguistics. Must hold M.Phil. in Linguistics focusing on Error Analysis. PG Diploma in Translation Studies preferred. Experience in language research within a government-affiliated institution is required, with strong skills in source-text evaluation and cross-linguistic analysis.
3. Research Associate (c) (1 Post - ₹50,000/- p.m.): Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (B.Tech) or a related discipline with dedicated research experience. Must have experience with Indian languages in computational settings, hands-on exposure to LLMs, bias and responsible AI, expertise in multilingual Indic alignment and model interpretability, familiarity with foundational NLP tasks, and strong analytical and programming skills.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Age criteria as per IIT Delhi IRD norms (typically up to 35 years for Research Associates). A 5% relaxation of marks is granted to SC/ST candidates. In case of selection of a retired/superannuated government employee, salary will be fixed as per prevailing IRD rules.
