Candidates must possess a Graduate / Post Graduate Degree (B.Tech / B.E. / M.Tech / M.E. / M.Sc) in Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, Medical Electronics, Biomedical Instrumentation, Signal Processing, or related disciplines, and must have qualified either GATE or CSIR-UGC NET (including Lectureship/Assistant Professorship), OR selected through national-level exams conducted by Central Government agencies (IIT, IISc, DST, DBT, MHRD, etc.).
Desirable: Programming skills in Python, MATLAB, C, or C++, and solid understanding of EEG, signal processing techniques, machine learning, and deep learning algorithms.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Age limit is typically up to 28 years for Junior Research Fellow as per DST norms. Age relaxations of up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Women/PwD candidates as per Government of India guidelines.
