Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:
- Full-time B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from a CIHM/SIHM/PIHM affiliated to NCHMCT/UGC/AICTE.
- BBA/MBA in Culinary Arts from Indian Culinary Institutes under the Ministry of Tourism.
- B.Sc. in Hotel Management and Catering Science from a Government-recognized University affiliated to UGC/AICTE.
- M.B.A. in Tourism and Hotel Management from a Government-recognized University affiliated to UGC/AICTE.
