Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold an M.Pharm in Pharmacology, M.V.Sc in Pharmacology, or M.Sc in Life Science / Pharmaceutical Science from a recognized University. Desirable: Minimum 1 year of practical research experience in the field of animal experimentation.

Working at the National Ayurveda Research Institute for Panchakarma (NARIP) in Cheruthuruthy, Thrissur (a premier peripheral research institute under CCRAS). Primary laboratory work involves preclinical animal pharmacology and toxicological investigations, specifically running the 180-day repeated-dose oral toxicity evaluation of the coded Ayurvedic formulation AYUSH OSTO in experimental animal models. Duties include daily animal handling (CPCSEA/CCSEA guidelines), dosing administration, clinical observation, hematological/biochemical parameter analysis, necropsy, tissue processing, and regulatory documentation.

Stationed at NARIP, Cheruthuruthy, Thrissur District, Kerala - 679531. Engagement is purely contractual initially for 6 months, extendable for another 6 months based on performance appraisal and co-terminus with the IMR project. Contractual research fellows are not entitled to permanent absorption or inter-institute transfer.
