Educational Qualification

M.Sc. or M.Tech. degree with a minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale in Physics, Applied Physics, Engineering Physics, Nanotechnology, Materials Science, or Electronics. Candidates applying with an M.Sc. degree must possess a valid NET (JRF) or GATE score. Desirable: Background in solid-state physics/electronics and experience with ab-initio calculations.

The fellow will conduct computational modeling and theoretical investigation of MgO nanosheets and nanoribbons for spintronic device applications under the supervision of Dr. Pankaj Srivastava, utilizing first-principles density functional theory (DFT) tools.
