Educational Qualification

Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical): Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences / Pharmacology / Public Health / Nursing (including integrated PG degrees). Desirable: 1 year experience in clinical research and patient handling.
Project Nurse-III: Four-year Graduate degree in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing). Desirable: Working experience in child health research.
Project Technical Support-III: Three-year Graduate degree in Life Sciences plus 3 years of post-qualification experience, OR Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences / Public Health. Desirable: Working experience in child health research.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Upper age limit as on the date of interview (23.09.2026) is 30 years for Project Nurse-III and 35 years for Project Research Scientist-I and Project Technical Support-III. Standard age relaxation applies for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates as per Government of India guidelines.

AIIMS Bhubaneswar is a premier Institute of National Importance under MoHFW, Govt of India. Working as project staff under an ICMR-funded pediatric clinical trial (ESCHAR Trial: Efficacy in Scrub typhus of Combination therapy in Children) involves patient handling, coordinating with pediatric outpatient and inpatient wards, administering clinical trial protocols, data collection on Case Report Forms (eCRFs), biosafety adherence, and strict compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines. The environment is academically enriching, clinically fast-paced, and highly collaborative.

The engagement is purely temporary and contractual for an initial tenure of 11 months, with further continuation/extension contingent upon project requirements, availability of ICMR funding, and periodic performance evaluations.
