Educational Qualification

• Teaching Associate: Ph.D. in Food Processing Technology OR Master's degree (M.Tech / M.Sc.) in Food Technology / Food Science & Technology / Food Processing Technology with 1st Class (60% marks), 4/5-year B.Tech in Food Technology (60% marks), at least 3 years of teaching/research experience, and at least 1 research paper in an SCI or NAAS rated (>4.0) journal.
• Teaching Assistant: Master's degree in Food Technology / Food Science & Technology / Food Processing Technology with 1st Class (60% marks) and 4/5-year B.Tech in Food Technology (60% marks or equivalent OGPA).
• Contingency Provision: If a qualified candidate for Teaching Associate is not available, the position will be filled as Teaching Assistant.

Age Limit & Relaxations

• Teaching Associate: Upper age limit is 40 years for Men and 45 years for Women.
• Teaching Assistant: Upper age limit is 35 years for Men and 40 years for Women.

Dr N.T.R. College of Food Science & Technology, Bapatla, is an ICAR-accredited constituent college of Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU). The contractual faculty member in the Department of Food Processing Technology will teach undergraduate B.Tech (Food Technology) courses, handle pilot plant processing labs (thermal processing, drying, extrusion, fruit & vegetable preservation, dairy engineering), supervise undergraduate research projects, evaluate examination papers, and support accreditation documentation. The college environment is academic and research-oriented. Working hours are standard academic timings (8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Saturday).

The position is purely temporary and contractual for an initial tenure of 11 months from the date of joining, or until regular faculty is appointed, whichever is earlier.
