Goa Housing Board JE Civil Recruitment 2026

Educational Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or State Board of Technical Education, or an equivalent qualification. Essential: Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

Statutory Domicile & Registration: Candidates must possess a valid 15-year Residence Certificate in the State of Goa issued by the competent authority and must have a valid registration with the Employment Exchange in Goa. The post is reserved exclusively for the Other Backward Class (OBC) category of Goa.

Candidates must not exceed 45 years of age as on the closing date for receipt of applications (21/10/2026). Age relaxation is admissible for Government servants and candidates belonging to reserved categories (up to 48 years for OBC) in accordance with orders issued by the Government of Goa.

1. Download the official application form from the Goa Housing Board website (www.ghb.goa.gov.in) or print pages 2 to 5 of the advertisement notification circular.
2. Fill out all columns of the application format in block letters using your own handwriting.
3. Affix a recent passport-sized photograph in the designated box and sign across it (half on the photograph and half on the application form).
4. Enclose self-attested photocopies of all mandatory supporting documents:
   • Birth Certificate (as proof of age)
   • Educational & Technical Qualifications (Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering mark sheets and passing certificates from SSC onwards)
   • Mandatory 15-Year Residence Certificate in the State of Goa issued by the competent revenue authority (Mamlatdar)
   • Valid Registration Card with the Employment Exchange in Goa
   • Valid OBC Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority in Goa
   • Photo Identity Proof (Aadhaar Card)
   • Experience Certificate (if any)
5. Place the application form and self-attested enclosures in a sealed envelope superscribed: “Application for the Post of Junior Engineer (Civil) - OBC Category”.
6. Submit the completed application packet by hand or registered post/speed post to: The Managing Director, Goa Housing Board, Building 'A', 2nd Floor, New Market Complex, Porvorim, Bardez, Goa - 403521 on or before 21st October 2026. Incomplete applications and applications received after the due date will be summarily rejected.
