Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University or equivalent with Psychology as a subject, OR a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University with Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Bachelor of Teaching (B.T.) or equivalent.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Candidate must be between 20 to 25 years of age as on the crucial closing date of 27th October, 2026 (born not earlier than 28.10.2001 and not later than 27.10.2006). Upper age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL), and as per Central Government rules for Ex-Servicemen and Departmental candidates.

The recruitment consists of three phases. Phase I comprises the Physical Efficiency Test (PET: 1.6 km run in 7:30 min, 11 ft long jump, 3.5 ft high jump for males; 800m run in 4:45 min, 9 ft long jump, 3 ft high jump for females) and Physical Standard Test (PST: Height, Chest, and Weight screening), both qualifying in nature. Candidates qualifying PST undergo Phase II Written Examination (100 MCQs, 100 marks, 2 hours, no negative marking; 60 marks for Psychology and 40 marks for General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning, English, and Hindi). Phase III entails Document Verification followed by Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Review Medical Examination (RME). Final merit is compiled strictly from marks scored in the Phase II Written Examination.
