Educational Qualification

Post-wise educational qualification and experience criteria (as on 24-09-2026):
• Software Engineer (JAVA): BE/B.Tech/M.Tech (ECE/CS/IT/EEE) or MCA/M.Sc (CS) with minimum 60% marks, plus minimum 3 years industry experience in Java/J2EE, Spring MVC/Boot, Hibernate, REST/JSON, and RDBMS.
• Junior Developer (JAVA): BE/B.Tech/M.Tech (ECE/CS/IT/EEE) or MCA/M.Sc (CS) with minimum 60% marks. Desirable: Java certification, knowledge of OOP, Spring Core, REST, SQL/NoSQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
• Procurement Assistant: B.Com / M.Com / MBA with minimum 2 years experience in procurement, financial, accounts, or administration management (experience in government/IT procurement preferred).

Age Limit & Relaxations

Maximum age limit as on 24-09-2026:
• Junior Developer (JAVA): Below 30 years.
• Software Engineer (JAVA) & Procurement Assistant: Below 35 years.

eHealth Kerala is a flagship mission-mode healthcare digitization project under the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Kerala. Software developers and technical staff work on enterprise Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, hospital management software, and citizen health portals deployed across government medical colleges, district hospitals, and primary health centres. The development stack centers on Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, and microservices in an agile team setup.

Appointments are on a contract basis initially for 1 year, extendable annually based on performance evaluation and project requirements. Selected candidates are stationed at the eHealth Project Management Unit (PMU) in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
