Educational Qualification

• Essential Qualification: B.E. or B.Tech degree in Electronics & Communication, Civil, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical, or Material Science from a recognized University.

The position is based at CSIR-NEERI headquarters in Nagpur under the Climate Change and Green Material division, led by Scientist-G Dr. R. J. Krupadam. The project 'Emission Testing of Firecracker' (TSP-2909) involves empirical air quality testing, monitoring particulate and gaseous emissions from green firecrackers, maintaining analytical equipment and computing software, performing data curation, and generating compliance documentation. The work environment provides exposure to state-of-the-art environmental instrumentation and national regulatory testing protocols.

The position is purely temporary, contractual, and co-terminus with the project duration. It confers no right, implicit or explicit, for permanent absorption or regularization in CSIR-NEERI. The cumulative service of project staff across CSIR laboratories cannot exceed the statutory limit of 6 to 7 years as per CSIR OM No. 5-1(342)/2017-PD dated 02.09.2024. Tenure may be extended or terminated with one month's notice depending on project fund availability and individual performance.
