Educational Qualification

Chief Engineer (Projects & Civil Works): B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent recognized by the University of Kerala. Must be a retired Chief Engineer from PWD/CPWD engaged in the design and construction of major buildings with at least 10 years of building construction experience.

Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical): B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent recognized by the University of Kerala with a minimum of 10 years experience as Assistant Engineer (Electrical) or equivalent from Government departments/projects or holding an A Class Contractor license for Assistant Engineer (Electrical) or equivalent role.

Age Limit & Relaxations

As on 01.09.2026: Upper age limit is 65 years for Chief Engineer (Projects & Civil Works) and 50 years for Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical). Age limit and experience conditions may be relaxed in the case of exceptionally qualified candidates.
