ASWC Manager (Audit) Recruitment 2026 – Walk-in Interview for 1 CA Post

The Manager (Audit) functions as the senior finance and internal audit lead at the Assam State Warehousing Corporation Head Office in Pannyagar Bhawan, Christian Basti, Guwahati. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the role oversees financial statement finalization, coordinates internal and statutory audits, and handles high-stakes audit compliance with the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG / AG Assam), including drafting formal responses to inspection reports and audit paras. The officer also manages enterprise-wide direct and indirect tax returns (GST, TDS, Income Tax), annual budget formulation, and periodic audit tours to district warehouse centres across Assam with admissible TA/DA. The environment requires strong autonomous financial leadership and corporate governance discipline.

Stationed at ASWC Head Office, Guwahati, Assam. Contractual engagement is initially for 11 months, extendable based on annual performance evaluation. Candidates must commit to a mandatory lock-in period of at least 6 months from the date of joining.

As a contractual specialist role, regular public service cadre promotions do not apply. However, experience as Manager (Audit) managing state PSU balance sheets, CAG audits, and multi-district logistics operations provides a strong foundation for lateral elevation to Chief Financial Officer (CFO), General Manager (Finance), or Financial Controller roles across state/central PSUs and autonomous bodies.
