Educational Qualification

• Essential: (i) M.Sc. in Physics / Theoretical Physics or equivalent degree with at least two (2) years of post-M.Sc. research experience as evidenced by published research papers in standard refereed journals; OR (ii) M.E. / M.Tech. or equivalent degree in Engineering / Technology; OR (iii) B.E. / B.Tech. or equivalent professional degree with at least two years post-qualification research experience.
• Desirable: Research experience in Theoretical Physics, Nonlinear Dynamics, or Machine Learning with sound computational programming skills.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Upper age limit is 32 years as on the application deadline. The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for SC, ST, OBC, Women, and Physically Handicapped (PwBD) candidates as per Government of India / CSIR rules.
