CSIR NAL Research Fellow Recruitment 2026

Senior Research Fellow (SRF) (01 Post): First class M.Sc. in Physics / Material Science / Electronics with minimum 2 years post-M.Sc. research experience and at least one publication in an SCI Journal; OR M.Tech in Nanotechnology / Electronics with at least 60% marks. Preference given to NET/GATE qualified candidates.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (01 Post): First class M.Sc. in Physics / Material Science / Chemistry. Applicants must possess a valid CSIR-UGC NET (Lectureship also eligible) or valid GATE score.

Upper age limit is 28 years for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and 32 years for Senior Research Fellow (SRF) as on the closing date of application (16.10.2026). Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates. PwBD relaxation applicable as per CSIR/GoI norms.

2. Complete the application form legibly in candidate's own handwriting or neatly typed format, affixing a recent passport-size photograph.
3. Attach self-attested photocopies of proof of date of birth (SSLC/10th), 12th standard certificate, degree certificates, post-graduation marksheets (all semesters), NET/GATE certificate, and experience/SCI publication proof (for SRF).
4. Enclose all documents in a sealed envelope superscribing "Application for the post of JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW / SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW. Advt. No. 14/2026".
