Educational Qualification

• Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale) from a recognized University.
• Doctoral Degree: Ph.D. Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation / Archives and Manuscript-keeping.
• Experience: At least 10 years as a Librarian at any level in a University Library, OR 10 years of teaching as Assistant/Associate Professor in Library Science, OR 10 years of experience as a College Librarian.
• Special Requirement: Evidence of innovative library services, including integration of ICT in a library.
• Relaxation: 5% marks relaxation (55% to 50%) at Bachelor's and Master's level for PwBD candidates and for Ph.D. degree holders who obtained their Master's degree prior to 19th September, 1991.
