Educational Qualification

Post-wise minimum eligibility criteria:

  • Internal Audit Officer (Level 11): CA or M.Com (55% marks in Advance Accountancy/Auditing) with 5 years relevant experience as CA or Class-I Govt/University Accounts officer.
  • Assistant Engineer (Electrical / Civil) (Level 8): B.E./B.Tech in relevant engineering discipline with 2 years experience OR Diploma in relevant branch with 5 years experience in supervision of erection/maintenance works.
  • Assistant Registrar (Level 9): Master Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized university.
  • Lab Assistant (Chemistry) (Level 4): Bachelor Degree in Chemistry with minimum 3 years post-qualification chemistry laboratory experience.
  • Store Keeper (Level 5): Bachelor Degree with minimum 3 years experience in store procurement and maintenance (Reserved for PwBD-LV).

Basic computer application certificate (CCC as per Gujarat GAD norms) is compulsory for all posts.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Upper age limit is 45 years for Internal Audit Officer and 40 years for Assistant Engineer, Assistant Registrar, Lab Assistant, and Store Keeper as on 16/10/2026. Age relaxations apply for SC, ST, SEBC, EWS, Women, and PwBD candidates as per Government of Gujarat rules.
