Educational Qualification

Stenographer Grade I (01 Post - Reserved for Garo): Bachelor degree from a recognized University with Diploma in English Stenography having a minimum shorthand speed of 120 words per minute (wpm) and typing speed of 50 wpm in computer.
Assistant Librarian (01 Post - Reserved for Garo): Bachelor degree in Library Science or Diploma in Library Science from a recognized University and proficiency in the use of computers.
Driver (04 Posts - Reserved for Garo): SSLC passed from a recognized Board, valid driving license for Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) and Transport Vehicle, knowledge of roadside repairs and efficiency in driving, with at least 3 years' driving experience after obtaining a valid driving license.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Candidates not in permanent Government Service must be between 18 and 32 years of age as on the closing date of application (24th October 2026). The upper age limit is relaxed up to 37 years for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates (all advertised vacancies are reserved for Garo category candidates belonging to Meghalaya ST).
