Assistant Engineer (Civil / Electrical): First Class B.E. / B.Tech. in Civil or Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or Institute, OR First Class Diploma in Civil or Electrical Engineering with an excellent academic record. Desirable: 2 years of professional experience in monitoring/supervision of engineering works, preparation of estimates, bills, measurement books, GeM/CPPP tendering, and working knowledge of CAD and engineering software.

The work environment involves supervising ongoing campus infrastructure development, residential quarters upkeep, academic block maintenance, central AC plants, lift safety licenses, and road maintenance across the 250-acre SVNIT campus. A significant portion of the role entails GeM / CPPP portal tendering, bid preparation, preparing bills and measurement books (MB), and coordinating with CPWD contractors and local utility agencies. The post requires a mandatory 6-day work week and occasional duty during holidays for emergency repairs.
