Educational Qualification

Educational qualification and experience criteria for Guest Faculty in Catering and Restaurant Management (CRM) trade:

  • Option 1: Degree or Diploma (Minimum 3 years duration) in Hotel Management and Catering Technology / Hospitality and Hotel Administration from an institute affiliated to NCHMCT / State Board of Technical Education / Recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate, plus 2 years of experience in Industry or Teaching.
  • Option 2: M.A. or M.Sc. in Home Science with minimum 55% marks (specialization in Food & Nutrition / Nutrition & Dietetics / Institutional Management & Dietetics or equivalent).
  • Option 3: B.Sc. (Home Science) with a 1-year certificate course in Food and Beverage Service / Food Production, along with 1 year of experience in the relevant trade.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Applicants must not have completed 65 years of age. Retired teachers / lecturers who have not completed 65 years of age are also eligible to apply.
