Central University of Haryana Recruitment 2026 – Walk-in for 01 Senior Research Fellow (Biotechnology) Post

Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science (Biotechnology / Botany / Life Sciences / Plant Molecular Biology) OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through CSIR-UGC NET (including Lectureship/Assistant Professorship) or GATE, or national-level examinations conducted by Central Government agencies (DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.) AND two years of research experience.
Desirable: Relevant hands-on research experience in plant molecular biology, molecular cloning, plant tissue culture/transformation, CRISPR/Cas-based plant genome editing, and molecular characterization. Experience with Brassica/mustard transformation/genome-editing systems preferred.

Upper age limit is 32 years as on the date of interview as per DST guidelines, relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Women and physically handicapped candidates.

1. Verify essential qualifications: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science or Professional Course with NET/GATE qualification and 2 years of documented research experience.
2. Prepare a comprehensive Curriculum Vitae (CV) highlighting educational qualifications, research experience, publications, contact details, and names/contacts of two academic/professional references.
3. Gather original certificates/mark sheets along with one complete set of self-attested photocopies (degree certificates, NET/GATE scorecard, experience certificates, proof of date of birth, category certificate).
4. Bring one recent passport-size photograph.
