IIEST Shibpur Recruitment 2026 – Walk-in for 01 Project Assistant (Chemistry) Post

Candidates must possess an awarded M.Sc. degree in Chemistry, Physics, or Molecular Biology from a recognized Indian university or institute.
Desirable: At least 55% marks in Bachelor's and Master's degree programs, along with academic or professional research experience in an experimental laboratory setting in Chemistry, Physics, or Molecular Biology.

Maximum age limit is 28 years. Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for SC, ST, OBC, Woman, and Physically Handicapped candidates as per Government of India guidelines.

1. Draft an application letter on plain paper addressed to the Project Investigator, Dr. Dipankar Mondal, Department of Chemistry, IIEST Shibpur.
2. Prepare an updated Curriculum Vitae (bio-data) detailing academic qualifications (Bachelor's and Master's degrees), experimental lab experience, mobile phone number, and email ID.
3. Self-attest photocopies of all relevant mark sheets, degree certificates, date of birth certificate, and caste/handicapped certificate (if claiming age relaxation).
4. Scan all self-attested documents and bio-data into clear soft copies.
5. Email the soft copies in advance by September 16, 2026, at 5:00 PM to the Project Investigator at: [email protected] or [email protected].
6. Appear in person for the Walk-in Interview on September 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the HoD Office, Department of Chemistry, IIEST Shibpur, Howrah - 711103.
