Dima Hasao Court Driver Recruitment 2026

Candidates must have passed at least Class 8th (VIII standard) from a recognized school and must possess a valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving License. Valid registration in an Employment Exchange of Assam is mandatory.

The candidate must not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years of age as on 01.01.2026. Upper age limit relaxation is admissible as per Assam Government guidelines (5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC/MOBC, and 10 years for PwBD candidates).

1. Obtain the Standard Application Form as published in Part IX of the Assam Gazette.
2. Fill in personal details, educational qualifications (minimum Class VIII passed), valid LMV driving license details, and valid Employment Exchange registration number.
3. Attach self-attested photocopies of all relevant testimonials: Class VIII / educational qualification certificates, valid LMV driving license, Employment Exchange registration card, age proof certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), and Declaration in Form-'A' under the Assam Public Services (Application of Small Family Norms in Direct Recruitment) Rules, 2019.
4. Enclose 3 (three) copies of recent passport-size photographs duly signed on the reverse side.
5. Prominently superscribe the envelope with 'Application for the Post of Driver on contingency basis'.
6. Submit the completed application packet by dropping it into the designated Drop Box at the District Court Building at Jatinga, or by post addressed to: The District & Sessions Judge, Dima Hasao, Haflong, P.O & P.S Haflong, District: Dima Hasao, Assam, Pin-788819 on or before 30 September 2026 by 05:00 PM.
