Associate Professor: MD/MS/DNB in relevant specialty with teaching experience as Assistant Professor or 10 years experience in a Government hospital (minimum 220 beds).
Assistant Professor: MD/MS/DNB in the concerned specialty with 2 years post-PG experience or PG Diploma with 6 years experience in an NMC/NBE recognized institution.
Non-medical candidates with M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Pharmacology are also eligible as per NMC norms.

Faculty members at the newly proposed ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Margao, Goa are responsible for establishing academic departments, framing undergraduate curricula, conducting clinical rounds, and handling outpatient and inpatient healthcare for ESI beneficiaries. Private practice in any capacity is strictly prohibited. Attendance is monitored daily via Aadhaar Enabled Bio-metric Attendance System (AEBAS) as well as manual registers.
