Selection is formulated strictly on academic qualification as per order no ME/HS-03-10/M/616 Dated 25.04.2013 of the Director of Medical Education, Govt. of West Bengal (Total 30 Marks): (1) Percentage of marks obtained in final MBBS exam (Gen Med, Gen Surg, G&O, Paediatric Med, Ophth, ENT) in excess of 50% computed on a scale of 25 (Max 25 marks); (2) University Honours / Gold Medals at 2 marks per subject (Max 5 marks); (3) Deduction of 1 mark for each chance/attempt lost in MBBS professional examinations (Max penalty -3 marks). Final seat allotment is conducted through in-person Counselling on September 23, 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Academic Building of DHGMCH.
