Essential Qualifications:

  • Certificate in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) from a recognized institution (with 6 months special training in midwifery for male nurses), OR B.Sc. in Nursing.
  • Valid Registration Certificate as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Midwife (RM) from a State Nursing Council.
  • Knowledge of Konkani (Essential).
  • Mandatory Domicile & Registration: Valid 15 Years Residence Certificate in Goa issued by the competent authority and active Employment Exchange Registration Card.

Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Upper age limit is 45 years as on the date of interview (08/10/2026). Relaxable for Government servants and candidates belonging to reserved categories as per Government of Goa rules.
