Educational Qualification

Essential: 8th standard pass. Preference: Candidates possessing practical experience in agriculture, gardening, insect culture maintenance, laboratory assistance, or related works. Job Requirements: Growing and maintaining experimental plants and insect cultures, maintaining the growth facility, and assisting in day-to-day laboratory activities.

Age Limit & Relaxations

The Field Worker operates in research laboratories and plant/insect growth facilities at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune, an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The day-to-day duties involve hands-on laboratory support: cultivating and watering experimental plants in greenhouses/growth chambers, maintaining live insect cultures, ensuring pest control in biological growth facilities, preparing soil/growth media, and assisting research scholars and faculty in routine laboratory maintenance.
