The Senior Research Fellow / Research Associate-I will work in Dr. Pavithra L. Chavali's laboratory at the Department of Biology, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati, an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education. The research group investigates the fundamental cellular and molecular mechanisms of microcephaly proteins, centrosome/cilia biology, cell cycle regulation, genomic instability in tumorigenesis, and host-pathogen interactions during viral infections. Fellows utilize advanced mammalian cell culture, gene cloning, CRISPR/Cas9 editing, high-resolution confocal microscopy, live-cell imaging, and proteomics at the institute's Central Instrumentation Facility (CIF).
